【Kumano Taisha Shrine】
Considered to be the Ichinomiya of Izumo Province, Susano-no-Mikoto, the son of Izanagi, is enshrined here.
In the myth, Susanowo no Mikoto exterminated the eight-headed serpent by brewing Yashio Orizake. Kushinadahime is saved and tied.
Kushinadahime gave birth to Yashima no Shinomi no kami, and its descendants are interpreted as Okuninushi no kami.
